Attention

If you are prescribed cannabis-based medicines, you must consult your prescribing doctor or another healthcare professional if you have any concerns about your treatment or if your condition changes.

In the event of adverse or unexpected reactions, seek immediate medical attention. Retain all patient information provided with your prescription to assist other healthcare professionals if required. If adverse reactions occur outside our opening hours, contact NHS 111.

Any information presented on our website or provided in patient materials, including medical advice, is for general informational purposes only and should not be construed as substitute advice from a doctor upon which you should rely.

Ordering process

Your prescription is considered accepted once we issue your invoice. Dispensing will only begin after we receive both your physical prescription and payment.

If we are unable to accept your order, we will contact you promptly by telephone. If we cannot reach you, we will notify you by email and no invoice will be issued. Reasons may include stock shortages, supplier delays, prescription errors, or other circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, we will return your prescription to your doctor.

Please note that a private prescription for controlled drugs is valid for 28 days from the date of issue. Payment must be completed within this period; CROWNZ PHARMACY cannot fulfil expired prescriptions.

An invoice number will be assigned to your order upon acceptance. Please quote this number in any correspondence regarding your order to help us assist you efficiently.

Payment

CROWNZ PHARMACY supplies medication for patients based on their individual private prescriptions. Therefore, patients must pay for their medication before it will be prepared, and an order cannot be cancelled once paid for. Only once you have paid for your prescription will a contract come into effect between you and CROWNZ PHARMACY and until such time as (i) your order has been accepted (ii) your prescription has been received and (iii) payment for that prescription has been made, we will not have any liability to you.

Payment is only accepted by debit card, credit card or bank transfer. Receipts are issued by email once payment is processed. By providing payment card details, you authorise CROWNZ PHARMACY to collect all applicable charges, including prescription, postage, and any additional fees under these terms.

Delivery

CROWNZ PHARMACY operates as a distance selling pharmacy. We are only able to take orders from approved clinics or prescribers. Once dispensed, medications will be shipped to you via a secure delivery service.

After payment, your medication will be dispensed at the earliest opportunity, subject to product availability. If delays occur, we will inform you promptly.

Deliveries require a doorstep signature and valid identification. It is your responsibility to inspect the package for tampering or damage before accepting it. Any concerns must be documented, and the delivery refused. Once signed for, our responsibility ends. If damage is discovered after acceptance, you must notify us within 48 hours so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

Due to the nature of our products, couriers cannot leave deliveries in a “safe place” or post them through a letterbox. If you are unavailable, the courier will attempt delivery twice and leave instructions for rearrangement or collection from a local depot. Failure to rearrange or collect within the courier’s timeframe will result in the products being returned to the pharmacy for disposal. In such cases, we reserve the right to terminate the contract, and you will remain liable for all charges relating to your order.

Refund, Returns & Cancellations

In line with General Pharmaceutical Council guidance, CROWNZ PHARMACY does not provide refunds on medication. Once dispensed, medicines cannot be reused and must be destroyed. This means you cannot return medicines, including prescription items, or any products with a broken hygiene seal. Unless faulty, opened medicines cannot be refunded or exchanged; any returned items will be disposed of.

In the first instance, if you do not find your medication suitable, this must be discussed with your prescribing doctor.

Please check your order carefully upon receipt. If you believe there has been a dispensing error, contact us immediately and do not use the medication. Please contact us using one of the methods above. Provide your invoice number when contacting us. If an error is confirmed and reported within two days of delivery, CROWNZ PHARMACY will provide either (i) a full refund, or (ii) replacement medication, where available. In such cases, we will arrange a collection of the original items for safe disposal.

You have the right to cancel your order until your medication is paid for, which is defined by receiving an email confirming payment. Additionally, we will cancel your order if we cannot fulfil it within a reasonable timeframe and provide a refund.
